Gabapentin Gel. or other topical creams
Thu May 10, 2018 9:43 am by Rosie21
Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Putnams 'bony parts' cushion or Putnams 'Dr Huff' cushion - which is best?
Sat Aug 01, 2015 4:17 pm by Fielder
Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie. I live in the UK.
I'm trying to work out the best cushion to get for my vulvodynia. I suspect that I could have pudendal nerve involvement (the aching and burning pain is from vagina to clitoris) and I have rectocele and some tailbone pain too.
I have seen some good reports on older threads regarding the Putnams pressure relief cushions....with some ladies …

Dear All,
I posted on here back in March 2017 having just got a diagnosis of vulvodynia after a few months of relentless and acute pain. I was desperate, I was hurting, I was scared I would never know life without pain there again.
I tried creams, acupuncture, numbing gels, frozen pads, baths with various internet recommended concoctions- convinced myself I had lichen sclerosus, herpes, thrush- …

I was first told basically to just go home and use hydrocortazone, then I went …

MonaLisa Touch

Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the MonaLisa Touch treatment for Vulvodynia? My pain started when I went on HRT(pill) for anxiety mainly and my pain abruntly stopped when I stopped HRT. However, when I started on the HRT patch (at my dr's suggestion), the pain returned and has never left. That was 7 years ago. I found MonaLisa Touch on the internet purely by accident …

Hi All,
I’m so glad I’ve found a place where there are others who understand how I feel!
So this is my story:-
I’m 36, and 4 months ago, whilst innocently sitting in bed reading I experienced a very sharp stabbing pain in my clitoris. It last only a few minutes and then subsided as quickly as it came on. It put it down to “one of those things”. The following morning I woke up …

New and need advice and help
Wed Dec 05, 2018 3:26 pm by Cin124
Hi everyone,
About three months ago, I started having vaginal and vulval itching. Then, about two months ago, my vulva started to feel painful and look swollen, so I went to the doctor. I was tested for herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea which all came back negative. I also had to do a vaginal swab test and the only thing that came back positive was yeast infection. I was prescribed hydrozole …

Internal anal fissures and VVS, somebody kill me please!
Hi everyone.
I have secondary VVS which also affects other parts of my genitals..
I got genital warts about 7 years ago when i was 18 from the first boyfriend i ever had. I got them treated with a mix of warticon cream and cryotherapy. The warts all cleared up and i have never got them since but anyway in the years following the cryotherapy i noticed sex was becoming more and more painful. I investigated once and realised there was a tiny paper like cut at the opening of my vaginal entrance where i had gotten the cryotherapy. It seems the cryotherapy has weakened the skin and now it tears everytime i have sex and is ruining my sex life. In the past year, the skin had started tearing externally around my anus and in the past 8/9 months had started tearing internally everytime i have a bowel movement which is incredibly painful and then for hours afterwards, its like im passing glass. I honestly cant take it anymore, i feel like giving up. The pain has also become chronic at the entrance of my vagina too when I attempt sex or some kinds of foreplay.
Iv done a lot of research and im fairly positive the cryotherapy has caused nerve damage as I have the tearing of the skin, everywhere I got the cryotherapy. The skin even tears between my buttcheeks sometimes when I walk. My now ex boyfriend of 6 years was not really supportive but at least he knew why i had the pain in the first place but i feel like i cant tell anyone else the reason so i think most of my friends think i exaggerate it. I really feel like life is not worth living being in continous pain and knowing i cant have sex either because of more pain and I cant seem to find anyone with a similar experience from cryotherapy on the internet? I feel so alone, all I do is cry. I don't want to think about this or feel this anymore

Re: Internal anal fissures and VVS, somebody kill me please!
Someone else on the forum had a similar wart experience hopefully she sees this. I think I read she did a cream or topical something that helped I think the treatment thins your vaginal walls (from what I remember dont quote me on it!) and causes fissures. I think there are positive ways to treat it tho, so please don't give up! I had a doctor tell me I would never be cured 5 years later I have very little pain due to persistance and wanting to have sex so badly. So just because you haven't found something to help yet doesn't mean that you will always be like this.

that's brilliant! hopefully u will enjoy loads and loads of sex in the future!! god vaginas are such hard work, guys really don't know how lucky they are, everything is so much more clear cut for them! iv been taking zinc tablets the last couple of days and it has made a massive difference with regards pain and healing of fissures, I recommend everyone to try it, I wonder if anyone else has had this experience with zinc supplements.. xx

Re: Internal anal fissures and VVS, somebody kill me please!
Currently I hate my vagina it's burning like mad bitch won't leave me alone but I guess im lucky I just used my dialator (really my vibrator lol) and it didn't hurt so all in all im lucky I just hate it I hate having periods and I sometimes struggle with being a girl I hate wearing bras too. I have bad cysts and oh dear God the bras kill. I've been recently going without and noticed my boobs got perkier AND the pain before my periods is gone weird. I wear them only when absolutely necessary I hate being a girl ugh sorry im venting.
I don't want to add anything else in my supplements but I'm so glad you're feeling good!
