Soaps/Body Washes

Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering what types of soaps/body washes/detergents you use to avoid irritating your V. Right now i use Aveeno body wash because it is scent free. I'm in the midst of a huge flare and just want to avoid and possible irritants

I try and use a body wash that is free from parabens and sulfates! And is frangrance free a good brand is jason(not cheap though) I only use aquoeous cream down below, but if I'm having a bad patch then I will just wash with water and make sure I wash my hair over the bath rather than washing it in the shower just to make sure the shampoo etc doesn't get down below!

I don't use strong washing powders or fabric softern so use the Eco egg for my clothes and at one stage I washed my pants in a different soap ! Dr. Bronner's Castile Liquid Soap .

If you have Whole Foods or Trader Joes near you try getting everything organic and without a scent. Same with pads/tampons/panty liners.

I have been using bar soap for a while now and I try to buy ones that are as gentle and natural as possible and fragrance free. some good ones I've tried are olivella, toms of maine, aveeno oatmeal soap...dove sensitive skin soap isn't bad. I'm thinking of trying their sensitive body wash because I do like body wash better, just stopped using it because of all the irritants, but maybe that one is gentle enough...

oh, and nellie's laundry soda is the detergent I use. not sure if it's in stores but you can buy it on amazon.

I have been using either Simple soap or Dove sensitive. Also found imperial leathers skin kind and family kind range good. I use these in the shower but I don't sit in a bath with soap or body wash I only use pure salt.
