Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Not sure if this will help anyone but bathing with products for me causes immense flare ups and i love bubble baths, I've made something natural that helps with bathing myself

Get an ice cube tray and add in any essential oil flavouring (can get online), just a few drops at the bottom of the tray, then pat down some coconut oil in the trays and leave in the freezer until frozen, then just take out and drop in the bath!!

Very cheap way instead of buying 'expensive' natural products and helps me cool down my flare ups!!!

Any other reccomendations?

I can recommend Oilatum bath oil (I get the fragrance-free kids version). It doesn't smell though and makes the bath slippery. But really softens my skin and doesn't irritate at all.
