Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

So this really hot guy invited me over for dinner tonight. After a few glasses of wine we ended up in his bedroom.

Now, I've been without sex for over a year thanks to my vulvodynia. Since the pain started I haven't even wanted to try it (I'm single so there hasn't been any pressure). But tonight I took a chance and it went well! We didn't even have to use any lube. I was so sure the pain would kick in like it does at the doctors when they put those horrible big things inside you, but it was totally awesome!

My vvd started one year ago after a thrush infection and using multiple creams. When the pain didn't go away for four months I started acupuncture. Today I still have a bit of irritation and pain but not nearly as much as before the treatment. Pain I can live with (suppose it's milder than some women's here, but it's still pain), I suppose, but thinking at 25 that I will never be able to have enjoyable sex again was my biggest nightmare. Tonight I'm just so happy that is not necessarily the case Very Happy

Just wanted to share my good news with people who know how complicated intercorse can be.
