Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Ha ha I was totally out of my box on Saturday oh dear...

I take Citalopriam and Busprione for the anxiety and I forgot to take my meds on Friday evening.

So Saturday morning I thought oh dear and took them..then I came on my period and oh my was the pain terrible! So I thought ok co-codermol time 15mg so I took two 30mg which im ok with usually

Well a couple of hours later I was still in pain and really upset so went into the chemist and spoke to the pharmacist who said I could also take Ibroprofen at 2hr intervals.

I then took the Ibroprofen 400mg... and 20 minutes later was totally spaced out!!

I was with mum and she was really worried about me cos I was like a zombie!! When I went bakc to mums house I was just staring at the telly and she was saying.. "you can blink you know!!"

Wow I felt weird as I dont usually take the pyschiatric meds close to the pain killers!

Mum let me stay round hers that night cos she didnt want me being on my own she kept saying I was getting pale!

I know the concoction wasnt dangerous I was just high as a kite lol

Im never doing that again!! Oh but I wasnt in pain lool!!

As long as you weren't in pain, i see no problem at all. LOL...odd reaction though. glad you made it through ok.
