Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

I see commercials all the time for cures for erectile dysfunction and other male sexual issues. Do you see these for female issues? Did you know that as many as 15% of women suffer from vulvodynia? I had never heard of it until my third gyno diagnosed me. With that many women suffering so much pain, there should be a cure. Why is it that we can't talk about this? I don't tell anybody in fear that they will think me strange or deformed. I feel that if guys know, they will have zero interest in me. I felt so alone for the longest time, assuming that I was unique in being unable to have sex. It just seems that women's health issues are not appropriate to be talked about. Just suffer in silence, ladies!

Does anyone else feel that this is completely unfair?
