Clitrodynia and pain on orgasm

Hi everyone

Ok I know we talk about intimate topics in this forum so here goes... I was wondering if anyone else has pain around their clitoris? Sometimes my burning relates more to my clitoris than my vagina - i have to make sure that the seam on my knickers is high enough to not touch it (so M&S 'granny pants' are currently my knickers of choice!) Its definitely a soreness rather than arousal.

Also i'm lucky that I have recently been able to have (careful) sex again with my wonderful understanding husband but i'm getting pain in my clitoris at the peak of my orgasm which rather messes up the moment. Anyone had that or know anything about it? I'm assuming its my nerves endings all mixed up and messed up. If you've had it did it go away by itself? or did you 'treat' it somehow as with vestibular/vaginal pain (creams, drugs etc).

I recognise what you're describing. Not sure why it's like that. My condition is getting better tho, so haven't had it in a while, thank god.

Just to update on this thread in case anyone is suffering similar - things seem to have calmed down for me on the clitoral front!

Don't know what was causing this particular pain but it seems to have gone away (fingers crossed). My pain levels have decreased overall (I think due to leaving my vjay 'au naturel', getting my pelvis realigned and relaxing pelvic and related muscles). I'm not 100% but at least this particular pain seems to have gone - yay!
