Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Hi guys,

As most of you know I had a vestibulectomy in December, I am so happy I did it. But now my last 2 periods have come really early ever since the surgery. My doctor mentioned that the anesthesia may be the culprit, but I have been on this birth control for 3 years with absolutely no problems. Unitl now. Before anyone says anything, I have to be on BCPs because my body will not stop bleeding. It's terrible! Do you think this really can be effected by the anesthesia and if so will this new annoying problem go away? On the happy side, my hooha doesn't hurt, so I guess its an OK tradeoff, but the reason I'm on the pill is to not be surprised and to not have long periods. I'm surprised and I HATE it. Thoughts?

Hi again Alana!

Sorry to hear about the issues with bleeding, that is frustrating. Did your gyn check your hormone levels? Is your iron level okay too? I actually have just the opposite problem, no period for ages now. Are you on an estro cream? Sometimes that can cause non-stop bleeding. Hope it gets better!!

Nope just BC but it just starts soon but ends on time so it's ok just spotting but bleck lol I hate my period!

No they just said anesthesia affected it it's just spotting a few days early it ended when it was supposed to
