Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

I've had VV for 20 yrs. It took me 20 yrs to learn how to live with it. I've had good days and bad but mostly good. I could manage the pain accordingly._

I was recently diagnosed with severe anxiety attacks and have been off work for 3 months. My GP put me on an SSRI named Celexa. I took one 10 mg pill and within 4 hrs i felt it immediately affect my vagina! I have been in pain ever since! The burning is excruciating and relentless. I'm at my wits end again. I feel like i did 20 yrs ago when i first got the pain. I don't know what to do. I immediatelystopped after the one pill. My GP now wants me to try Effexor XR. I'm petrified.

I would rather have anxiety than a burning vagina. I'm sooo scared it won't settle down.

Any words of advice?
