Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

I now have hope, as before I just wanted to throw in the towel.

I was on Lyrica no results helping with the symptoms, I became frustrated, very depressed, isolated myself from friends.

I have now been on Neurontin now up to 1800 mg a day. Along with having physical Therapy and use of a Tens unit.
What a difference. My PT and Dr. are awesome, they LISTEN, offer many suggestions and are eager to help! I can now see light in the darkness I once had. Now enjoying doing the things I use too, enjoying the company of friends, and slowly becoming active again. One day I can see myself sitting back on a horse and bike.

To all those who suffer from this, hang in there. I hope for all of you one day too, can see light in the darkness.
