Gabapentin Gel. or other topical creams

Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Putnams 'bony parts' cushion or Putnams 'Dr Huff' cushion - which is best?

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie. I live in the UK.
I'm trying to work out the best cushion to get for my vulvodynia. I suspect that I could have pudendal nerve involvement (the aching and burning pain is from vagina to clitoris) and I have rectocele and some tailbone pain too.
I have seen some good reports on older threads regarding the Putnams pressure relief cushions....with some ladies …

hey, im 19, ive been struggling with this almost a year. The first week I became itchy I went in to check about a yeast infection another week later. I have been to 10 different doctors a total of about 15 appointments for this problem for the past 11 months. I have been tested for everything including having a biopsy. Hello, I have just been diagnosed with unprovoked vulvodynia. Im really scared and worried. It burns a lot and it hurts to sit down. I have been prescribed amitriptyle 10mg. Can anyone give me some hope that I can get better from this condition. Feeling low and depressed.

About three months ago, I started having vaginal and vulval itching. Then, about two months ago, my vulva started to feel painful and look swollen, so I went to the doctor. I was tested for herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea which all came back negative. I also had to do a vaginal swab test and the only thing that came back positive was yeast infection. Thank you all for your replies. Its been hard for me to find hope in this and I don't have may people to talk to about it. I get so excited to read your stories and replies whenever I get an email saying someone had responded.
Emalita: The pain varies and sometimes it can be hard to pin point when I actually use a mirror and touch the areas I feel are hurting it doesn't hurt or its not unbearable pain at least.
Sometimes I have pain with urination which I can't tell if its inside my urethra that's in pain or the top of my clitoris spasming so its making it painful. The urine toching my labia skin does sting yes. I can't wear underwear at all or pants. I keep trying to do little things like go grocery shopping simple things and I'm in so much pain I don't know how to work threw it. The only time I feel the pain is manageable is when I'm laying down. its awful I used to be such an active person and I like being home with my animals but at this point my self worth and self esteem is being gratley affected.
I called yesterday and found out I should be approved for health insurance by the end of the month! I was so excited about that. They also said that I can get health care and pay up front fees and they would remburce me and pay the rest when I'm approved.
So yesterday I found a Vulva specialist in my area I did a lot of research and I think she will be able to help. I'm with you guy on the all natural stuff. I will no longer be using any antibiotics or creams down there as I know this will only hurt me worse.
I don't know if others feel this way but it makes me angry that doctord aren't more edgicated about this. Espcailly Gynos! Also why aren't woman made more aware when they are given these medications that they can be harmful. I will forever be skeptical of doctors and health care from now on. Which I guess is best.
Also I do plan to try coco butter and see if this helps which brand is best? Ice helps a little
