Sexy Knickers and jeans

Although the title of this post looks promising it isn't! Today I decided to start clearing out some stuff ready for my move in the summer and my knicker drawer caught my eye with its overflowing contents so I decided to start there. I had no idea I had so many pairs of sexy, lacy knickers I can no longer wear! I started with a drawer that wouldn't close and finished with a drawer that is half empty and contains only sensible pairs of cotton briefs, the kind I only wore for my period in my pre V life. The bag of sexy stuff went in the bin with the exception of a pair of lacy french knickers that I stuffed at the back of the drawer, well a girl can hope can't she!

In the next few days I'm going to get to my jeans drawer, that one I'm dreading. I used to live in jeans and have some fabulous pairs but sadly I have to be ruthless and get rid of most of them. I might keep one pair just in case.......

Yes I certainly believe that a lot of us can relate to you on this topic. Most of the time I avoid looking at the stacks of jeans that are literally collecting dust and cobwebs in the far right un-reachable corner of my closet!

I used to live in jeans prior to all this...now its a distant memory....but one needs to be resourceful and creative, and afterall we are women so we can get away with interesting outfit combinations...

And, alas, the knickers (you u.k. people call them,... over here they are undies)...yes those too remain in the far reaching corner of my closet. Mummified.

Anyways....Sarah I wish you the best with your move preparation!

Got a good place to stay Sarah?

I chucked out all but one pair of sexy knickers and kept a few black pairs. I now have just loads of white cotton ones, not sexy at all! but as they are for everyday wear I dont care. Its not like Im a poll dancer! hehe

As for the jeans I chucked out the last pair a month ago..stuff it I dont want to wear em anymore anyway I love the leggins too much. Jeans are just cold and stiff V or no V

No Sebby I haven't found anywhere yet but want less stuff to move when I do! I'm going to find moving stuff a nightmare because of my joint problems so I've said he can keep all the appliances and most of the furniture and pay me half of everything we bought together so I can buy new stuff. I'm looking at rented stuff online but most of them are no pets and I have a cat, frankly hell could freeze over and I still wouldn't move anywhere without my feline boy! He's my baby.

Im impressed by your forward thinking and organisation! Thats is exactly what I would do! lol

Im sure there is somewhere that will let you have the cat. Also have you thought of ringing a few of the landlords and seeing if you can change there mind on the whole cat issue. Mention your health issues make em feel guilty! im terrible arnt I!

There is always the possibility of negotiation, all they can do is say no but maybe someone will say yes!

I have some rentals and I always say no pets but have trouble sticking to that... because I have a cat and a dog. I really mean no bloody big dogs. Like Sebby said it's worth an ask.

Don't give the ass too much stuff when you can pay someone to move it. Make sure you put a dead fish in the back of the sofa if he's having that though =)

Thanks girls, I will ask about the no pet rule, in my youth when I lived in rented places alot of the landlords were fine about cats and actually meant no dogs with that rule so perhaps they can be persuaded. I had 2 gorgeous boys but lost one a few weeks ago to cancer, absolutely heartbreaking. My surviving lad is 16 so fully house trained and has been for some time! I'll enquire and see what I can find out.

I'm really feeling a bit off kilter about moving, the house I'm leaving was my Mum's and her ashes were spread in the garden but I can't afford to buy my ex out so he's thinking about moving in there with his new woman, it's not just me is it? That is all kinds of wrong isn't it? I hate the thought of him and her in my Mum's old house but just can't afford to stop it. This weekend he's bringing her for a look around and I really think he's rushing me, sadly I can't stop it, I asked a solicitor and they said he can legally bring her for a look so I've just got to stomach it. Wish I'd never met the lying cheating piece of shit. (Sorry I know I should be in the let off steam section for that!)

As for the sofa, I hope to take it with me if I get a place with a room that can accommodate it, it's a leather corner suite. I do keep finding my eyes looking at his toothbrush and then the loo though...

As for ur jeans, if ur getting rid...get em on ebay. That way the money u make on em can go towards some lovely new bits of clothes. I tend to wear nice dress tops with leggings. I will post some links on here in a bit from a few of the websites i get em from. And they are nice to wear in the summer too without leggings and with flip flops

I have catalogue of things you can do to make the house more homely for them. When my gf split up from her cheating husband and he was moving the gf in we hatched all sorts of plans. Didn't do any in the end because the wanker wouldn't even do their settlement without a fight. I did tip milk on the doormat though, that would have brewed up quite nicely in the hot sun. He even kept her dog!!! We were going to write things in the lawn with weedkiller and glow in the dark ink on the bedroom ceiling. He's a fat little prick and diabetes and kharma will get him eventually.

Naomi coming to stay gets my vote!

Oh girls you are funny! I'm trying to be all adult about it and take it in my stride, I just have wobbles every so often about it being my Mum's house. I can't buy him out full stop even with a house mate and I can't raise the cash any other way. Can't sell land at the back as there's no access so I'm just going to have to move. Maybe me and my boy would be better off moving anyway, before he got together with his current woman he shagged a woman from the local pub so I don't feel comfortable in there either. At least a fresh start would mean a new pub and new people who he hasn't bedded! He made me look a right idiot if I'm honest, right on my doorstep too. Probably a case of the sooner the better. I've told him no to her looking round this weekend and after a bit of a row he's agreed for now but wants her to see the house as soon as possible. It's all really not what I expected at my age, starting again in rented property. What a waste of all those years. Anyway, thanks for your supportive anger (Naomi when did you get so feisty??!), it makes me realise it's not just me who thinks this is all wrong! I think I may have a struggle getting my settlement too, I'm saving my energy for the battle over that.

And I forgot to say I've taken my jeans to a charity shop today, kept a couple of pairs just in case but most of them are gone. It was easier than I anticipated actually, I haven't worn them for so long I hardly recognised some of them! Not to mention they were all a nice size 10 and I'm now a bloated size 12!

my mums even got her thinking cap on as i asked her opinion (hers was to change the locks and start generally spooking him ie itching powder, hire an actor to pretend to exorcise the place and cause ghostly mayhem). Bless her, shes livid my mum. That and having a shit day at work...heads would have rolled last night if ur ex was in the same room!!

what if you look someone in, for instance like me (yes i know they would be a 'benefits skank' ) and then you would have ur benefits? that would add up to £800 pm approx. Council tax would be paid by council.

It's lovely you girls, and Naomi's Mum too, are outraged on my behalf but what I have to remember is anything I do to him he will do right back to me and he has alot more resources and energy than I have! It is fucked up that he's going to get my family home but sometimes life shits on you over and over again and just won't let up until you've lost nearly everything. I'm saving my energy for the fight over the proceeds, there's bound to be one despite him not really needing the money. All I can do is hope Naomi's curse of some kind of dick lergy gets him!! Seriously though you girls are great and I'm sure I'll find somewhere to go, I'm just having a bad year this year so far.
