Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

I am just curious if anyone has been using the Fentynal Patch for the Vulvodynia/Vestibulitis pain? My daughter is being treated with it for fairly severe pain (not VV) and says it has pretty much taken away all her pain with very few side affects. This just peaked my interest, thinking it might help? Look forward to feedback. Thanks flower Millie[u]

Hello, Ive never tried a Fentynal Patch but Im willing to try anything to get some relief. I have chronic back pain and I have pain meds that I use to treat that pain. I started using the pain meds for my Lichen Simplex Chronicus Vulva and it seems to help a bit. Even though I told my Gyno that Im using my back pain meds to help the LSC pain but she will not prescribe me any,. I do not understand why Dr.s dont want to prescribe pain medication for vulva pain. They will prescribe everything else under the sun.

If your is willing to prescribe you a Fentynal patch then go for it. I wish you the very best of luck.
