Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has had a positive test for strep b? I had an increase in external itching and thought I had thrush when I when to see the nurse it to me ages to convience her to do a swab, as I was told to take treatment for thursh. I have had 5 courses of antibotics in the last 6-8 months so wanted to check it out before I took anything. Just before this happened I starting taking bio kult candida as I had had taken so many antibotics for a infection I had in my toe, after taking then for three weeks I noticed I had so much more energy and wasn't as tired but then the itching started.

The test was positive for strep b and the dr asked if I was pregnant, I'm not but we are trying so I have another course of antibotics.

The problem I have is could this be what as caused some if my v symptoms ? I have tried to look up the symptoms of step b but can only find info relating to pregnancy.

Does anyone know what the symptoms are ? Could the burning and itching sensation I have be strep b and not vulvodynia ?

I had this and still had vulvodynia... they say it.usually doesnt cause symptoms

I have strp b and had it since I lost my virginity. I often wonder if that why Ive had so many problems, basically starting from the time I lost my virginity. But I guess 40% of women have it, and they seem to be able to atleast have sex most of them, so I dunno..
