new, scared, and confused, please help need advice??

Hi im not really sure. My pain started about two weeks ago. Thought I had a uti, frequent urination, test -then started feeling pain in my clitoris, or numbness. Since then I have had a burning sensation right above vaginal opening. Its so bad it burns 24/7. Problem is I have no medical insurance:(. Maybe some of you can help me if it sounds like what I may have, anyone have similar symptoms?? And mainly what do u do to get through the day. I cant concentrate on anything but the burn. I just want it to go away.

Eeek! Try a baking soda bath! It could honestly be a really bad infection or vulvodynia unfortunately only a doctor can tell you. If you're in the states go to Planned Parenthood theyre usually good!

Agreed with Alana, you should go to Planned Parenthood. They have a sliding pay scale to make sure women's health is always within reach, whether you have insurance or not. If you are living in a state which lacks Planned Parenthood, find out if there is some other type of clinic for uninsured (if you are near a teaching hospital, that is often a good bet). As far as your case, it is probably not vulvodynia, though the possibility is always there. There are a ton of different infections that can cause your symptoms, including the numbness/tingling, and those are going to be the cause of what you're experiencing 99% of the time. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it's not vulvodynia!

Thank u guys so much for replying.i do have a planned parenthood which is normally where I go, im just waiting for my period so i can get an exam. The burn is so intense though, just trying to stay positive.. thanks

Why would you wait for your period if you're in that much pain?
