Hi I have been suffering for some years with this abominable pain. I have tried most of the systemic drugs , I asked specialists and Doctors if I could at least try a topical treatment but because this requires a special prescription have been refused Has anybody had a chance of trying these? Thank you I will try to put a link on to some of the research into Gabapentin Gel. Thanks.

and remember, and ive read this on countless forums. Many times BV does not even culture out,a nd will culture out later when the infection gets really bad.

Thats why I say, go to a good GYN cuz my family doctors tests are weak,and my problems never show up but then 2 days later my GYN will test me for BV and lo and behold, Ive got copious clue cells, etc..tests are many times unreliable,and they are always anxious to blow you off and get you out of your office with minimal antibiotic treatment.

Hey lavrose,
I will bear that in mind when I have my second gyno appointment in a few weeks. I will ask them to test again thoroughly for everything. I've had blood and urine tests too. Do you have any other ideas what I could ask them? If they have no answers I want to see urology and dermatology specialists, and then after that I will look for a vulvodynia specialist

If you can find one - it's worth seeing a vulval dermatologist just to rule out any skin conditions
