Hiya,

Was wondering if anyone has ever had ipl/lazer hair removal on their bikini line before?

Or if you know if it would effect my vulvadynia.

I'm not in acute stage of it like I was last year. The constant pain stopped from seeing a physio and many other things like coconut oil.also breaking up with my boyfriend so not having sex which caused a lot of emotions as wasn't able too. Still …

New here! Vulvodynia, Interstitial Cystitis, Depression, Sexual Assault

Sun Nov 16, 2014 5:23 am by _Jules_

Hello all, I'm new here and this is my first post. As much as I hate to think of other people having to go through the horrible pain of Vulvodynia, it is of some consolation to read your stories and know we're not alone. It can be so isolating sometimes. There is a lot of hope on this forum and I see that many people have found significant relief. That makes me feel hopeful although I've been …

Hello... I am becoming desperate. I dont know how much more I can take. This all started back in May. I was having an IBS flare up and found it easier at work to use baby wipes. This had been happening for a few weeks. It was a friday night and I had sex with my guy. Over the weekend I felt irritated but assumed it was from sex. Anyone tried this in pill form? What's it's like? What side effects have you had? This is next on the list for doc to percribe me for my vestibular vulvadynia but I'm worried about the side effects.

Also did it work with anyone with provoked pain?

Any advice is much appreciated. X

which meds for what?

Tue Oct 21, 2014 12:51 pm by yoginimom

I have been reading through this forum and finding a lot of threads that mention various medications, but do not list what they are for. Is there a list of meds anywhere on this forum with a description of what they are for? Or matching certain symptoms with certain meds?

My Dr. has not suggested any meds aside from Fluconzole which is the no name for Diflucan, (a yeast treatment).

Can anyone …

Long time sufferer

Sat Oct 25, 2014 3:07 pm by mirror

I'm 34 years old, I've been married for seven years, and we can't have sex because I'm so miserable.  And this has been going on my entire adult life.  Any kind of penetration ranges from extremely uncomfortable to downright excruciating for me.  I don't wear tampons unless I absolutely have to because even inserting a small tampon is awful.  And I can constantly feel it as I wear it, like …

I have been living with vulvodynia for a long as I can remember. I didn't get officially diagnosed until I was 17 and it has been getting worse ever since. I am 19 now and unable to have sex with my boyfriend of 4 years. I also suffer from endometriosis since I was in my early teens so I've been living with pelvic pain for a long time now. No one really understands how vulvodynia effects you …

I have never heard of it. I am a bit skeptical of a cream that I couldnt get on prescription from my doctor and that is being sold for profit. Then again I really dont know if it works?

Before using it take the list of ingrediennts to your doctor and pharmicist to check it out

I am far to scared now to use anything but natural products such as coconut oil down there!

If it does help then deff let us know

Wishing you luck

neogyn test

Post  florence1009 on Fri Jul 15, 2011 2:23 am

I received the tube (UPS shipped) without problems. Nice cream; I apllied it 3 times now just on my vestibule. i had a little tingling at the beginning. No tingling now. So far so good. They recommend to apply the cream twice a day for at least 6 weeks to realy feel the difference. I am trying to be patient.
The ingrediensts are interesting. They say it is a mix of some proteins and growth factors. They claim it makes the skin arround the vulva thicker...
I'll keep you posted! Smile

Please be careful there is alcohol in the ingredients. I hope it works, but I had a lot of problems with creams from the Doctors Trimovate, Yeast creams just made my Vulva skin red sore and swollen. I hope the cream works but so afraid of the pain and discomfort I went through at the beginning using all creams prescribed. Howard Glazer told me to put nothing on the vulva you could not eat olive oil natural products ect.........

neogyn ingedient

Post  florence1009 on Sat Jul 30, 2011 3:38 pm

I checked on the ingredient; neogyn is a biotech product and contains proteins coming from "cultivated human fetal fibroblasts". I ask a friend who told me this is relatively conventional bio-technologies eventhough the fact of using anything with an "Fetal" origin is always hot material for the journalist! My friend told me that tipically most Polio vaccines are made the same way...
So if you reject sensionalism, it seems pretty solid science.
